“Pvt. George F. Gibson, age 22, was fatally injured Monday by an accidental dynamite explosion during routine training, according to telegram received by relatives of the Dry Hill community near here. Pvt. Gibson was married to the former Miss Faye Mills and they were the parents of a 9-months-old daughter. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. General H. Gibson of Route 1, his father being a World War I veteran. Funeral arrangements have not been announced pending arrival of the body here.”
