Fred Jean Spicer was born in Sevierville, Tennessee, the son of William Theodore “Willie” Spicer and Myrtle Ida Henderson.
Fred Spicer served on the U.S.S. LCI(L) 440 and was killed in action. He was buried at sea with full military honors and is memorialized at the Honolulu Memorial, HI
