Frankie Ensley was born in Copperhill, Tn., the son of Thomas Murphy Ensley and Ida Beatrice Thomas. He was the husband of Dorothy Lorina Dalton and father of June Marie Ensley.
Sergeant Frankie B. Ensley was a assigned to Company E, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division. The division had re-entered Germany on 2 April 1945. He died on 6 April 1945.
