LaFollette, May 30, Pvt. E. Pierce was killed in action in Belgium, last Dec. 18, according to a War Department message received by his parents. Private Pierce was the son of Mrs. Ida Pierce of Monroe, Mich. and Lum Pierce of LaFolette. His wife and two children, Shirley and Evert, are making their home here.
