| Lcpl Huskey grew up in the Cascade’s community near Wears Valley. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Huskey and was from a family of nine children. He attended Sevier County High School, and in 1965 enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. The following year he was assigned to the Second Battalion of the Fourth Marine Regiment and was transferred to South Vietnam. Immediately after arriving in South Vietnam, he was engaged in combat with the enemy. He was killed in action in Quang Nam Province, South Vietnam. |
