Delmer Edison Crouch was born 25 March 1922 to Grover Crouch and Salena O. Reynolds. He married Ethelene Capps on 10 November 1944 in Albany, Kentucky. Pvt Crouch enlisted on 13 Apr 1944 at Ft Benjamin Harrison, Indiana. He died 27 November 1944.

Pvt. Delmer E. Crouch, , husband of Mrs. Ethelene E. Crouch of the Y.W.C.A. was killed in action Nov. 27 in Western Germany where he had been serving as an infantryman. He is buried in Holland. Surviving are a son, J.C. Crouch, and a daughter, Margaret, both of Forbus, Tenn.; the parents, Mr and Mrs. Grover Crouch of Forbus; two brothers, Dimer and Charles, both of Forbus, and five sisters, Edith and Ollie Crouch, both of Muncie, Mrs. Avo Guffey of Jamestown, Tenn., and Eva and Pauline Crouch, both of Forbus.
