Pvt. Clifton Jarnigan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clint Jarnigan, Rt. 3, Clinton, was killed in action Feb. 5 in Germany. Pvt. Jarnigan was inducted on July 5, 1944 and had been overseas about two months. Other than his parents, he is survived by two sisters and five brothers.
