Clarence Johnson was born 30 December 1893 at Roan Mountain, Tennessee, son of Abram Alexander Johnson and Maria Bowling. He married Etta Greer on 25 August 1917 and father of Florence Desta Johnson.
He was Killed in Action and is buried in the Johnson-Crabtree Cemetery in Roan Mountain, TN.
