Charlie Fred Weatherford of Lake City was born on February 2, 1915. He was the son of Arthur R. and Mary Alice Webb Weatherford. He was the brother of Ruth Weatherford McMillian. He died in 21 May 1943 when a German U-boat sank his ship near Down, Ireland.
