S.Sgt. Charles Blair, USMC, has been reported killed in action in the South Pacific. No details were given. Word of their nephew’s death was received here yesterday by Mr. and Mrs. James W. Blair, with whom Charles made his home for many years. Sgt. Blair is a former student of the Vero Beach high school. He left school more than three years ago to join the United States Marines and has served overseas for two years, taking active part in the South Pacific campaigns. He was the son of Marion Blair, formerly of this city, now residing in Sanford, Fla.
