Airman First Class Charles Edward Fulton was born on September 2, 1943, and was originally from Elizabethton, Tennessee. He served his country in the Vietnam War in the United States Air Force, in 8th Aerial Port Squadron, 13th Air Force. He was a two-year veteran in the Air Force when his tour in Vietnam began. On January 2, 1965, AFC Fulton was killed in a vehicle accident under non-hostile conditions in Gia Dinh province, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old at the time of his death. AFC Fulton is memorialized on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Panel 1E, Line 81.
