Charles Edward Eubanks, 46, chief gunners mate in service since 1918, died Wednesday in a Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Fla. Survivors: parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Eubanks, Cedar Bluff; brothers, Sam of California, Walter of Knoxville and Charles of Byington; sisters, Mrs. Lillie Green, Mrs. Carl Henderlight, Mrs. Lee Branson and Mrs. Edward Horner; grandfather, W.S. Norwood. The body will be brought to Knoxville for funeral services.
