Funeral services for Carl Wallace Rogers, 33, United States navy, who died in a Los Angeles hospital last Thursday, will be conducted from the First Baptist Church. A firing squad will be brought from Fort Oglethorpe, and he will be buried at Fort Hill Cemetery with military honors. A second class pharmacist’s mate, Rogers joined the navy Sept. 1. He was graduated from Bradley High School and attended Mars Hill and Wake Forrest Colleges. His brother, Fred, died at Mobile, Ala., on Aug. 4. He is survived by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
