The body of Pfc. Carl E. Mize, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Mize of the Oak Hill Community, arrived Monday afternoon. Funeral service for Pfc. Mize, who was killed at the age of 22 in action in Luxembourg on Jan. 17, 1945, will be held from the Oak Hill Baptist church. Survivors of Pfc. Mize are his parents; four brothers, Eugene F. Mize, Decatur, Ala.; J.T. Mize Jr., Edmonds, Kan., and George and Clyde Mize of Dayton; six sisters, Mrs. Clay Fraley, Mrs. Havard Sneed, Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell, and Misses Sadie Mae, Zeta and Martha Mize, all of the Oak Hill community.
