Carl Dean “Buddy”Houser was the son of William Roy Houser and Bertha Lorraine Williams. He had one sister, Billie Faye Houser and a brother Dennis F. Houser.

Carl Dean Houser, a sailor home on furlough, died in the Fort Oglethorpe post hospital today of injuries suffered Tuesday night when the car in which he was riding overturned several times on the Suck Creek road. Houser, 20, was the son of the Rev. and Mrs. W.R. Houser. He previously had been stationed in the Philippines.
