Calvin Cecil Broyles was the son of Fred Willhoit Broyles and Vanna Effie Richardson. He died at San Diego County in California.

Calvin C. Broyles, AM3c, U.S. Navy, veteran of World War II, died Friday at the Naval hospital in San Diego, Calif, after an illnes of four months. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending arrival of the body, which has been shippe to Kiser Funeral Home. The service, however, will be held at Union Chapel, with full military honors at the Grave.
The deseased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Broyles, Afton, Rt. 2; four sisters, Mrs. Ivan Burgess and Misses Floella, Naomi and Myrna Broyles, and three brothers, Fred Jr., Franklin and Hugh Broyles. PO Broyles served two years in the Navy, eleven months which were spent at sea in the Pacific.
