The body of Private First Class Beryl L. Martin, son of Mrs. W.K. Martin, 119 West Poplar street, is expected to arrive here Friday morning. Martin, who was 28 at death, died of natural causes in an army hospital at Panama in September, 1942. He had served a prior enlistment and had reenlisted in January 1942. Martin, a native of the county who attended both city and county schools, is survived by his mother, two sisters, Miss Gladys Martin, Norfolk, Va. And Mrs. Mildred Wilson, city; and three brothers, Lester and Dean Martin, both of Johnson City, and Stanley Martin, Norfolk, Va.
