Benjamin Glenn Warbington was born 12 March 1913 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee and grew up in Butler County, Missouri. Father Jacob Edward Warbington and Mother Inda Della Hudson. He married Vera Brockett 5 March 1935 in Butler, Missouri. Father of Glenda Fay Warbington.
Pvt. Warbington was employed by the Crisman Hardware Company and the Tennessee Valley Authority before entering the service in September, 1943. He attended public schools at Harviell, Mo., and came to Chattanooga with his family in 1937.
He was Killed in Action 2 October 1944 in Germany. He was interred 14 June 1948 in Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Section Y Site 322.
