Amos Hansel Webb was born on 17 August 1907, Sevier County, Tennessee. He was the son of Robert Marshall Webb and Ida Bell Ownby. He was married to Elizabeth Pauline Newman.
His brother, Fred C. Webb was wounded in action in the Normandy Invasion.
Pvt. Webb was killed in action in France on 15 November 1944. He is buried at Middle Creek Cemetery, Sevierville, Sevier County, Tennessee.
