“I would truly appreciate contact from anyone who knew my uncle, Alvin Gunter. He died a week after my 21st birthday, at the much-too-early age of 33. I sometimes feel like I didn’t really know him – wish we could have known each other as adults – but he occupies a very special place in my heart.”
