T/Sgt. Alton W. Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Allen, 312 West Fifth Street previously reported missing in action since July 22, now has been reported killed in action on that date. Sgt. Allen was the husband of Mrs. Kathleen Allen of Blackshear, Fla. He had been in the army for eight years. He was stationed in the Panama Canal Zone for three years and had been in England five months before going into France July 1.
