Pvt. Albert Joseph Banther, 26, United States Marines, died Monday at the Naval Hospital in Oceanside, Calif., from injuries received in an automobile accident. Pvt. Banther, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Banther of Harrison, had been in service five months. He was a member of the Carpenters’ and Joiners’ Union, Local 74. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lorene Bather; two daughters, Charlotte and Gale Banther; parents; sister, Miss Easter Banther; six brothers, Jackie Lee, L.K., Lonellis, Richard Banther, Harrison; Pvot. James H. Banther, Camp Polk, La., and Pfc Marion Banther, overseas.
