Sporting Clays Shootout

The Sporting Clays Shoot out is traditionally held the last Friday in October at the Chilhowee Sportsman’s Club in Blount County.

Medal of Honor Evening

The Medal Honor Evening is always held the first Monday in May. This annual fundraising dinner honors the service and sacrifice of one of the 15 Medal of Honor Recipients whose names are engraved on the Memorial.

The 2024 Dinner Honoree will be CPT Larry L. Taylor, who received his medal for his actions during the Vietnam War. The guest speaker will be General (Ret). B.B. Bell, United States Army.
